Description

Hello there :D

Well I'm back (finally) with a new drawing! A dragon (no sh*t!) :meow: I'm planning to try to do at least one drawing, that I will post, per week. Of course they might not be as detailed as that one (which was done in approx 8 hours, in fact)
I'm practicing at textures and stuff like that... All here is handmade as usual, mostly with the basic Photoshop brush! :D

This design.. Idk if it has already been done. I wanted something kinda badass looking so yeah.. I designed it in greyscale and traditional during a trip, so no references used, no examples, etc.. Nothing but my hand.
Hope you like it!! :)

*Obligatory critique from me incoming*

Well, first off, you've finally got the background thing in place. I don't know why, but that's just a huge deal to me. It ensures that I'm looking at the subject gives some ambience to the scene.

I can really feel the textures in his mouth! They're so well done, although I wish that the scales were more visible, but I can see that it's done intentionally do to the lighting angle you choose for this guy.

His horns feel very "stone-like", yet still organic in some way. It's obvious that you're improving since the "Beware of the (baby) dragon!" drawing you did. In fact it would be cool with a redone version of that.

In some ways, he seems like he would strike fear into most people, but he also seems like he would be insanely cute if he wasn't roaring.

But yeah, keep it up, dude! And don't push yourself to hard with that "Once-per-week" thing. Art should be made with feelings and passion... Not rushed.

Oh, and BTW: You still owe me that Abbath themed dragon drawing. xP
